Sérignac

At the heart of the Cahors vineyards, Sérignac is a small village typical of its Lotoise architecture. In its two streets, enthroned old houses, church, cemetery and presbytery. Despite its forty five inhabitants the village has a grocery store with bar and restaurant, It offers many amenities: a football field, a tennis court, a table tennis area, a children‘s playground, basketball area and petanque court. A riding school is also nearby.

Village festivals, music and theater festivals, balls, gourmet markets and concerts at the mediaeval Cabanac Church will liven up your evenings. Markets and exhibitions will help you discover the local art of living.

The Lot is also known for its flavours, cuisine and vineyards. Amongst its specialties are Cahors wine, foie gras, truffle, saffron, tourtière and goat cheese.

From the chasm of Padirac, to the valley of the Lot by way of its typical perched villages and its numerous castles the region will surprise you by its beauties.

In hiking, riding or cycling the region will reveal its paths and its typical landscapes. By boat, canoe or kayak the Lot will refresh you. On board of a balloon or an airplane, under your feet, you can admire all the wonders of the Lot.
